A Space Where Children Thrive
At Drummond Park Pre-School we carefully create a learning environment that is warm, engaging and visually inviting for children. Our spaces are flexible and evolve alongside the children who use them, allowing their interests, ideas and creativity to shape the environment. The natural world plays an important role in our program. Our educators are passionate about providing opportunities for children to explore nature and develop a respect for the environment. Through everyday experiences, children are encouraged to be active participants in caring for and
connecting with the world around them, helping to foster a sense of responsibility and sustainability.
Designed for Play, Built for Learning
Our program is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework Version 2.0, which supports children’s learning and development through five key outcomes. Through play, exploration and intentional teaching, educators support children to develop:
- A strong sense of identity
- A sense of connection with their world
- A strong sense of wellbeing
- Confidence and involvement in their learning
- Effective communication skills
These outcomes guide our educators as they support each child to grow, learn and thrive in a nurturing and stimulating environment
